The Black Fairy Godmother Foundation values the trust of our donors. This Donor Privacy statement explains how we treat information related to gifts and fundraising support. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What we collect

When you make a gift, we may collect your name, contact information, gift amount, designation (if any), payment method details as needed for processing, and related correspondence. Online donations are typically processed by trusted third-party payment platforms; those providers handle sensitive payment credentials according to their own security and privacy terms.

How we use donor information

We use donor information to:

• Process and acknowledge gifts
• Maintain accurate financial and tax records
• Communicate about impact, stewardship, and giving opportunities
• Comply with applicable nonprofit, tax, and legal requirements

We do not sell donor lists

The Black Fairy Godmother Foundation does not sell, rent, or trade donor names or personal contact information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Recognition and anonymity

We may thank donors publicly (for example, in event materials or reports) when appropriate and with consent or established fundraising custom. If you prefer anonymous recognition or no public listing, please note that preference when you give or contact [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to honor those requests.

Communications preferences

Donors may request to be removed from fundraising mail or email lists at any time by contacting us. We will still retain information needed for gift processing, tax acknowledgments, and legal compliance.
